Silverleaf is a timeshare company. They operate from their headquarters in Dallas Texas. They have several locations throughout the country. They use a marketing tool telling folks that they have won something. This lures crowds of folks to come see what they won. They tell you the odds 1 person will win a car 10 persons will win a 500 dollars and 20 folks will win a 1500 shopping spree to places and everyone else will win a romantic island getaway.
Sounds suprer right well it really isnt. Of all the locations in the country those are the odds of all of them not individually. In additon to this you are going to set thru a sales presentation regardless of what folks say its a sales presentation. The Romantic Island getawy covers only the accomadations to get there not the air fare. Guess what when you are there you have to set thru another timeshare presentation.
Then your told guess what you are definatly going to get your choice of a cruise or round trip air fare for two to Lasvegas or ORlando. Its true you will get this but you do have to pay money for each of these and you are severly limited on what and when you can go. Oh and guess what you get to set thru another timeshare presentation.
They tell you 90 minutes not hardly alot longer. After they go over your gifts with you they then tell you they need to do a surver to figure out how they should build on their resorts. That it goes to corpoarate. Thats not true they take your information to establish your spending patterns. Then they ask you about trips you have taken and will and how much you would spend.
Then the do what they call breaking the deal. They know that you and the person you went there with have made a deal not to buy anything. They need you to say yes so they ask you if you see something that you like and will benefit from then they are going to ask you to be their newest owner. if you say yeah they shake your hand and you go on a tour. If you say no they say oh you dont have to but Im going to ask.
You should Know
This is going to be a sales pitch. They are going to hit hard on your emotions. Is it a good deal yes and no. The first deal they tell you about isnt a good deal. They are going to talk to you about a white deed. Silverleaf sets their availability up on a sliding week a period of the year. They divide their year into three seasons Blue being the cheapest and depending on where it is the time of the year. White deed is midseason you get both white and blue to vacation in. Red is the most expensive but you can go anytime during the year. Now understand you have to be able to use it during that time. They will offer you a white deed after the tour after they tell you about RCI. Resorts condominus International. It sells for 15500 and they will finance at a huge interest rate. Dont say okay. Never say yes to the first deal. Understand no matter what you say unless its yes I want this they are going to call over another person. The closing manager they will warm up to you and then tell you something like they dont usually work in this part of the company that they are just there helping out. Thats usually not true. The will tell you something about another person is trading in their deal to move up to a better condo. Thats not entirely true. The have deeds that they have that are much lower price. Basically if you do what the deal you can almost name your price and they will some how super humanly find that very deal for you.
When the manager Returns
THey will come back with a deal they hope you will agree to but it will be different. For one thing your representative will tell you about bonus time 75 dollar a night. When the manager comes back he will unveil and better deal for you. You will be able to spend the night Sunday thru Thursday for free subject of course to availability and on Fri and sat for like 50 bucks. Honestly thats not a bad deal. The part that I didnt like was this the maintenance fees 70 something a month and that never goes away . Sure there are deals that offer it at have that price but you can only come every other year.
Unles you say yes the closing manager will call over someone to give you your gifts. Thats not entirely true. They will offer you a chance to try it before they buy it sorta deal where you pay the maintence fees and I think get the use for the day. If you say no then they will direct you to gifting. Guess what they arent thru trying to sell you something yet.
